Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Dustin Tinkler ("I," "me," or "my") collects, uses, and protects information through www.dustintinkler.com (the "Site"), my courses and programs, and the YouTube Helper app I use to manage my own YouTube channel. This Site and business are operated by Dustin Tinkler as an individual.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you join my email list, sign up for a program, buy a product, or contact me, I collect what you provide, such as your name, email address, and any message you send.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Kajabi and its payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal). I do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its hosting platform (Kajabi) may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used (for example, pages visited and general location based on IP address).

How I use information

I use your information to:

  • deliver the courses, programs, and products you sign up for
  • send emails you asked for, such as updates, lessons, and announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email)
  • answer your questions and provide support
  • process payments and keep records required for taxes and accounting
  • improve the Site and my content

I do not sell your personal information.

YouTube Helper app and Google user data

I use a small private app, "YouTube Helper," to manage my own YouTube channel (Dustin Tinkler, @dustintinkleronline) through the YouTube Data API.

  • What it accesses: only my own YouTube channel's video information, such as titles and descriptions, so I can update video descriptions (for example, to add a link to my Discord community).
  • What it does not do: it does not access, collect, or store any data about viewers, subscribers, commenters, or any other Google users.
  • Storage: the app keeps a sign-in token and a backup copy of my own video descriptions in private storage I control. This data is not shared with anyone.
  • Sharing: Google user data obtained through the app is not sold, shared, or transferred to third parties, and is not used for advertising.
  • Revoking access: access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube API Services are also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Service providers

I rely on trusted services to run my business, including Kajabi (website, courses, email, and checkout), payment processors, Discord (community), and YouTube (videos). These providers process information on my behalf under their own privacy policies.

Data retention

I keep personal information only as long as needed to provide your programs, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
  • Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I have about you by emailing me.
  • Set your browser to block or delete cookies (some Site features may not work without them).

Children

My programs are intended for people 13 and older. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given me information, contact me and I will delete it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
